Dear Friends and
Family,
I just thought that I would update
you on what is going on here concerning my visa process so that you
could be praying for me. Before I do that I just want to thank God for
the awesome service that we had at church this evening. Again we had
new people, and the people were hungry for what God had for them. The
altar service lasted for an hour and a half. Nobody left early.
Everyone came forward for prayer, and were excited about what the Lord
had for them. What a blessing! If this is why God has been holding up
my visa then it is well worth it! There were testimonies of what God
has been doing in the last week, and it is an encouragement to everyone
to hear what God is doing in the lives of the new believers.
So far as my visa process... I
went for my interview on Thursday, and it went very well. As a matter
of fact the interviewer asked me to call him later to meet with him for
coffee, and that he would take me to the Bulgarian history museum there
in Gabrovo. The interview was much more casual than I expected, and it
was actually enjoyable. At the end of the interview we went back to the
front desk where they told me to come back again this Friday. So that
is what I will do. The bible tells us "They that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength" so I believe that God is strengthening me
through this process. Even the Bulgarians are surprised how long this
is taking! God has a purpose, and I trust Him to get me home at the
proper time.
